Help! I need a career change and I’m not sure where to start?

southern california politics
Newman asked:

I’ve been a teacher in southern California for fourteen years and I’ve about had it with politics, red tape, credentialing issues, etc… Teaching is no longer fun for me. I’d like to look for a new job/carreer next summer, but I’m not sure what I’m qualified to do. All of my education, up to a master’s degree, and work experience are in teaching. I’ll miss the vacation time (who wouldn’t), but I think my happiness and well being are more important. Any suggestions on where to start? Anyone want to offer me a job?

I employ myself, and am thinking about getting two employees, as my business is rapidly growing. I wish to know what money has to be paid to the government for registering my new employees. I know that an employe poster has to be purchased from the government. How much does that cost, and what other fees have to be paid?

Latinas in California?

geewiz asked:

I don’t see too many Latina women with an Asian guy in southern California. Yet, Latinos and Asians will be the largest racial groups in California within another decade. Whenever a Latina dates out of her race, it is more often than not with a black guy or white guy. Even if an Asian guy can speak Spanish, enjoy Mexican food and say a few flirtful phrases—they have not yet open up to the idea of dating an Asian man. Just like with white girls, they have never been socially conditioned to find an Asian man’s face to be attractive. It is not seen as cool or in the trend to be with an Asian guy. Yet, Latinos in California often live and work amongst Asians on a daily basis. This is not good for future race relations if the Latinas and Asian man stay apart and not get acquainted with each other. There is no familiarity and those Asian guys will probably side with the ****** whites in supporting anti-illegal immigration politics in the future.

For me, it was to read this morning that USC lost handily to Oregon State last night. Maybe now my friends in southern California will shut the hell up about how unstoppable the Trojans are. Probably not though.

But regarding politics or world events, I can’t remember the last time I finished watching a news program or reading the newspaper and thought to myself life really isn’t so bad or things are looking up!

I am interested in running for the house of representatives, maybe I have a lot of money and time on my hands and I’m pissed off. I don’t know what offices to go to fill out the necessary paperwork and turn in my petitions. I doubt it’s the post office. Give me directions to the right office, southern california, and I will give you legal weed and complete representation of the people. I will change this country, it isn’t the economy…Its the government stupid. Thank you. Stanford in 06.

Too Curious asked:

I almost applauded when I read that 175 illegal aliens were captured in Southern California. What I read next I could not believe. they detained one murder, one child molester and 26 illegals who had broken another law.
Another law?
Do Americans get to choose which laws they can break for their economic improvement? If so, I know several houses I need to visit, and the way the Federal government is acting, the owners had better just open the door and let me in. After all I could sneak in while they were not watching, and once in I should be counted as a resident.
I would tell them I needed their food since I was hungry and had no food. I do not have any clothes except the ones on my back. No money, and please pay me cash to make me richer. Okay, of 175, 1 murderer, 1 child porn, 26 other offenders, and 27 who have already, so over 2/3 (that’s over 100) of these illegal alien were released after being caught. I think this is wrong, they broke the law. What about you?
