Should our tax dollars help southern California?

southern california government
Ole Baby B asked:

I don’t think so. Anyone with common sense knows that California is a natural disaster just waiting to happen. If it isn’t earthquakes, it’s wildfires, or mudslides, or sinkholes. Those people choose to live there knowing the risks involved. Why should we keep paying for them to rebuild every few years??? Just like New Orleans. After Katrina, the government should’ve said if you go back you’re on your own after this because it’s only a matter of time before New Orleans is under water again. Besides Orange County is mostly conceited wealthy show biz people that think they’re better than the average American and now they’re crying for our help when everyone warned this would happen. I say tough crap. You lived there knowing the risks invovled and I’m fed up with paying for people in these situations to rebuild and rebuild and rebuild. How do you feel?
Ummmm…. 9/11 had nothing to do with natural disaster So-Cal is destroyed every few years weather by fire or earthquake. My point is why don’t the people wake up and move.
